The term BMI stands for Body Mass Index (BMI). The BMI is used to measure the body fat based on height and weight of both male and female.
Many airlines asks for certain BMI standards for Cabin Crew:
BMI for Females = 18-21
BMI for Males = 22-25

The cost of cabin crew training generally ranges from ₹50,000 to ₹1,20,000 or more. The exact fee varies based on factors such as the training institution, the length of the course, and the location of the training center.
Cabin Crew Training Duration is 6 Months to 12 Months. This is the minimum time required to complete the cabin crew training including Theory, Practicals, Interview Skills, Soft Skills etc.,
Students with an undergraduate degree are eligible for the Cabin Crew course. Candidates must be between 17 to 25 years old at the time of admission. The minimum height requirement is 155 cm for females and 170 cm for males, with weight proportional to height.
At the entry level, candidates start as Junior Cabin Crew members and earn an average salary ranging from ₹3 lakh to ₹6 lakh per year. With experience, flight attendants can advance to senior positions with additional responsibilities, where they can earn between ₹7 lakh to ₹12 lakh annually.
