Skill India or the National Skills Development Mission of India is an initiative launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi. This campaign, managed by the National Skills Development Corporation of India, most importantly, aims to enhance the skills of the Indian workforce.

Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship

Firstly, The Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship is responsible for coordinating all skill development efforts across India. It addresses the gap between the demand and supply of skilled manpower, develops vocational and technical training frameworks, and promotes skill upgradation and innovative thinking. This includes preparing individuals not only for existing jobs but also for new opportunities yet to be created.

The Ministry’s Goal:

In addition, The Ministry’s goal is to skill people on a large scale, with speed and high standards, to realize its vision of a ‘Skilled India’. Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC)

Furthermore, Tourism and Hospitality Skill Council (THSC), promoted by the Confederation of Indian Industry (CII), includes representation from the Government, Industry, Industry Associations, and Training Institutes across India. Formed by the Industry and for the Industry, THSC addresses the skilling of large manpower to meet industry requirements, playing a crucial role in bridging the ever-growing skills gap.

Moreover, THSC is now an approved awarding body under the National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET). Air Grace Aviation Academy is a registered training partner of THSC, providing comprehensive Travel and Tourism and Hospitality Management Courses.

National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET)

Most importantly, National Council for Vocational Education and Training (NCVET) is an autonomous, non-statutory regulatory body under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship (MSDE), Government of India.

In conclusion, NCVET is responsible for monitoring institutions that provide short-term and long-term vocational education and training, and for setting the basic standards required for the operations of these institutions. United Federation of Travel Agents Associations (UFTAA)

Firstly, the United Federation of Travel Agents Associations (UFTAA) originated from the Universal Federation of Travel Agents’ Associations, established in Rome, Italy, on November 22nd, 1966.

Abover all, UFTAA was founded through the merger of two major global organizations, FIAV and UOTAA, acknowledging the necessity to unite travel agencies and tour operators into a single international federation.

Galileo Global Distribution System (GDS)

Galileo is a computer reservations system (CRS) owned by Travelport, holding a 26.4% share of global CRS airline bookings as of 2000. In addition, airline reservations, the Galileo CRS facilitates bookings for train travel, cruises, car rentals, and hotel rooms.

Federation Of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH)

Furthermore, the Federation Of Associations in Indian Tourism & Hospitality (FAITH), inaugurated in May 2013, serves as the apex body of the Tourism & Hospitality Industry.

Above all, Member associations include ADTOI, ATOAI, FHRAI, HAI, IATO, ICPB, IHHA, ITTA, TAAI, and TAFI.

The Travel Agents Association of India (TAAI) was established to regulate the travel industry in India along organized lines, adhering to sound business principles.

The Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC)

Most importantly, the Egyptian Accreditation Council (EGAC) stands as Egypt’s primary authority for evaluating and accrediting conformity assessment entities. In addition, EGAC covers a wide spectrum, including testing, calibration, and medical laboratories, inspection bodies, and product/system certification, along with personnel accreditation.
